The National Rich Seas Convention

Due to the attendance of the Emperor and Empress at "The National Rich Seas Convention" on November 9th and 10th, major traffic restrictions will be in place in Oita. The restrictions include: ⚠️Roadblocks on four major highways, with temporary restrictions on entry and exit at service areas and interchanges. Changes in restriction timings may occur depending on traffic conditions. ✈️Road closures around Oita Airport and along National Route 213 in Kunisaki City for two days. ⛔️In Oita City, a large area will be affected, including National Route 10 from Hayato to Kotobuki Town and roads extending from Oita Interchange through the city center. ⛔️In Beppu City, parts of National Route 10 and roads around from Fujimi Street to Beppu Interchange will be restricted on the second day of the convention. The police are urging the public to cooperate with detour routes during these days. Additionally: The main event in Beppu will occur between Shōningahama Park and Beppu Transport Center on Sunday. Roads in Oita city and around Oita Airport will be closed during daytime, approximately from 12:00 noon for about 2 to 3 hours on Saturday. Route number 10 and Fujimi Road in Beppu will close on Sunday from around 2:00 PM for several hours, possibly until 5:00 PM..
